8.\nConsideration of Resolution to Accept the Fire Foundation Personal Protective\nEquipment (PPE) Grant Award\nRECOMMENDATION:\nThat the City Council adopts the next Resolution, in order, authorizing the City\nManager or designee to:\nExecute any documents and agreements necessary for receipt of award and\npurchase of the equipment;\n1.\nAccept, appropriate, and expend the award of $74,582 and the 10% cost share\nfor the purchase of nine (9) sets of firefighter personal protective equipment\n(PPE); and\n2.\nExecute a transfer of the 10% cost share (currently estimated to be $8,287) from\nthe General Fund to the Fire Foundation Grant for procurement of the PPE.\n3.
