14.1\nConsideration and Approval of a Community Project Funding Grant Agreement\nBetween the City of El Monte and the County of Los Angeles for the Pre-Construction\nand Design Phase of the MacLaren Community Park Project in the Amount of\n$1,500,000.\nRECOMMENDATION OF BUSINESS ITEM UNDER CONSIDERATION:\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Approve a Funding Agreement between the City of El Monte and the County of Los\nAngeles for the pre-construction and design phase of the MacLaren Community Park\nProject;\n2. Authorize the City Manager, or her designee, to make all conforming modifications and\nedits and execute all implementing documents; and\n3.
