11G. CONTRACT AWARD - CATCH BASIN AND STORM DRAIN IMPROVEMENTS\nAT AVENIDA PRESIDIO AND CALLE MIGUEL, AND FINDING THE PROJECT\nCATEGORICALLY EXEMPT FROM THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL\nQUALITY ACT\nStaff Recommendation\nAdopt Resolution No. 26-24, which will:\n1. Find the Catch Basin and Storm Drain Improvements at Avenida Presidio\nand Calle Miguel, CIP Project No. 12003, are categorically exempt from\nthe California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) under Class 1 (Existing\nFacilities, 14 CCR section 15301) of the State CEQA Guidelines.\n2. Award a contract to Torres Sanitation Systems Construction as the lowest\nresponsive and responsible bidder based on the base bid, for Catch Basin\nand Storm Drain Improvements at Avenida Presidio and Calle Miguel.\n3. Approve, and authorize the City Manager to execute, Contract No. C26-\n14, by and between the City of San Clemente and Torres Sanitation\nSystems Construction, providing for the Catch Basin and Storm Drain\nImprovements at Avenida Presidio and Calle Miguel, in an amount not to\nexceed $465,150, in a form substantially similar to Contract No. C26-14\n(Attachment 2).
