Reject bid submitted by Roy Allen Slurry Seal, Inc., Santa Fe Springs, as\nnon-responsive - Award Bid 8167 to Union Pavement Services, Inc., Jurupa Valley,\nFor $1,949,270.65, Measure Z, the Pavement Rehabilitation and Pedestrian Facilities Improvements Account, will fund street preservation for the fiscal year 2024-25. This includes slurry seal and cape seal pavement preservation for approximately 11.6 miles of city streets. Additionally, necessary pavement rehabilitation and the installation of new pavement markings at various locations throughout the city will be undertaken. The project will be managed by the Public Works department and will cover all wards. A 10-minute presentation, a location map, a street preservation list, and a bid award recommendation will be provided.
