(17)\n26-0071\nCD 3\nMOTION (BLUMENFIELD - JURADO) relative to funding for\nsupplemental funding for the Permanent Supportive Housing projects\nknown as the "Elderberry" and the "Nova" in Council District 3.\nRecommendations for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL\nOF THE MAYOR:\n1. TRANSFER and APPROPRIATE $250,000 from the General\nCity Purposes Fund No. 100/56, Account No. 000617\n(Additional Homeless Services - Council District 3) to the\nHousing Department Fund No. 10A/43, Account No. 43CC13\n(FY 2025-26 Street Strategies) to provide supplemental funding\nfor the Permanent Supportive Housing projects known as the\n"Elderberry" and the "Nova" in Council District 3.\n2. INSTRUCT and AUTHORIZE the General Manager, Los\nAngeles Housing Department (LAHD), or designee, to amend\nthe City's General Funds Homeless Shelter Services Agreement\n(City Contract C-202650) with the Los Angeles Homeless\nServices Authority (LAHSA) to extend the term of the contracts\nthrough December 31, 2027 and add up to $250,000, as\nfollows:\na. Add up to $100,000 in supplemental funding for\noperational costs and supportive services at the\n"Elderberry" Permanent Supportive Housing project,\nlocated at 20250 Ventura Boulevard in Council District 3,\ncurrently being operated by Volunteers of America Los\nAngeles.\nb. Add up to $150,000 in supplemental funding for\noperational costs and supportive services at the "Nova"\nPermanent Supportive Housing project, located at 21121\nVanowen Street in Council District 3, currently being\noperated by A Community of Friends.\n3. AUTHORIZE the LAHD to make any corrections, clarifications,\nor revisions to the above fund transfer instructions, including\nany new instructions, in order to effectuate the intent of this\nMotion, and including any corrections and changes to fund or\naccount numbers; said corrections / clarifications / changes may\nbe made orally, electronically or by any other means.​\n​\n4. REQUEST and AUTHORIZE the LAHSA to prepare, process\nand execute the necessary documents with and / or payments\nto Volunteers of America Los Angeles and A Community of\nFriends, or any other agency or organization, as appropriate,\nutilizing the above amount, for the above purpose, subject to\nthe approval of the City Attorney as to form.
