(24)\n25-1477\nPUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE REPORT relative to accepting an in-\nkind donation from the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD)\nFoundation valued at approximately $2,633,180.21 to the LAFD.\nRecommendation for Council action:\nAPPROVE the acceptance of an in-kind donation from the Los\nAngeles Fire Department Foundation valued at approximately\n$2,633,180.21 to the LAFD; and, THANK the donor for this generous\ndonation.\nFiscal Impact Statement: The LAFD reports that there is no fiscal\nimpact on the LAFD budget from the acceptance of this donation.\nDonations provide the necessary items to meet the needs of the\nrespective fire stations or administration sections. Replacement or\nrepair of items meeting City specifications and Fire Department\nbusiness needs may be bore by General Fund, subject to budgetary\nconstraints. Neither the City Administrative Officer nor the Chief\nLegislative Analyst has completed a financial analysis of this report.
