Determine that Ordinance 1288 is categorically exempt from the\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to State CEQA\nGuidelines Section 15061 (b)(3) (Common Sense Exemption); and\n2. Waive the full reading and introduce Ordinance No. 1288 by title only,\namending Chapter 5.26 of Title 5 of the South El Monte Municipal Code,\nthereby amending the City’s cannabis regulations, in relation to\napplication procedure and criteria, permitting and operational\nrequirements, clarification changes, and other changes in order to align\nwith legal developments and to improve the administration thereof.
