AMENDING VARIOUS SECTIONS OF THE BEVERLY HILLS MUNICIPAL\nCODE (BHMC) TO ADOPT A TRANSIT-ORIENTED DEVELOPMENT\nALTERNATIVE PLAN PURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION\n65912.161 (a), AMENDING THE ZONING MAP AND ADOPTING THE\nTRANSIT-ORIENTED DEVELOPMENT ALTERNATIVE PLAN MAP, AND\nMAKING A DETERMINATION OF EXEMPTION UNDER THE CALIFORNIA\nENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT (CEQA).  - Second Reading for Adoption\nComment: This ordinance implements the provisions of SB 79 to redistribute density\nfrom single-family residential zones to the Mixed Use Overly Zone. The ordinance\namends various sections of the Beverly Hills Municipal Code to create a transit-\noriented development alternative plan pursuant to Government Code section\n65912.161(a), which will be forwarded to the California Department of Housing and\nCommunity Development for review.
