10.6\nApproval of Plans and Specifications for the Police\nDepartment Fire Suppression System Improvements and\nConsideration of a Resolution Approving a Cooperative\nAgreement with Kimble Fire Protection, a Subsidiary of APi\nNational Service Group, Inc. for the Police Department Fire\nSuppression System Improvements\nRECOMMENDATION: It is staff’s recommendation that the City\nCouncil:\n1. Approve the plans and specifications for the Police\nDepartment Fire Alarm System Improvements;\n2. Adopt the attached Resolution approving a Cooperative\nAgreement with Kimble Fire Protection, a subsidiary of APi\nNational Service Group, Inc., for the Police Department fire\nsuppression system improvements for a total amount not to\nexceed $242,695.40, in a form approved by the City Attorney;\n3. Authorize the City Manager to execute the Cooperative\nAgreement and approve change orders that may be necessary\nduring construction to cover any unforeseen condition in an\namount not to exceed 10% of the agreement amount; and\n4.
