A. Award Nurse Practitioner Agreements for Advanced Provider Unit Program\nRecommended Action\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n1. Adopt a finding of no possibility of significant effect pursuant to Section 15061(b)(3)\n(Common Sense Exemption) of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)\nGuidelines;\n2. Authorize the City Manager to negotiate and execute an agreement with Erin Tomlinson\nfor the Advanced Provider Unit for the Fire Department. This recommended award is\nmade as an exception to the competitive bidding process pursuant to Santa Monica\nMunicipal Code Section 2.24.250(i) and 2.24.240(a) and for an amount not to exceed\n$598,643, with future year funding contingent on Council budget approval; and\n3. Authorize the City Manager to negotiate and execute an agreement with Alex Perez\nSandi as a Nurse Practitioner for the Advanced Provider Unit for the Fire Department.\nThis recommended award is made as an exception to the competitive bidding process\npursuant to Santa Monica Municipal Code Section 2.24.250(i) and 2.24.240(a) and for an\namount not to exceed $598,643, with future year funding contingent on Council budget\napproval.\nStaff Report Printout\na.
