5.5\nGrant Acceptance and Appropriation: Accept and Appropriate Grant Funds from the San Diego\nSeniors Community Foundation\nReport Number: 23-0333\nLocation: Norman Park Senior Center, 270 F Street\nDepartment: Parks and Recreation\nG.C. § 84308 Regulations Apply: No\nEnvironmental Notice: The activity is not a “Project” as defined under Section 15378 of the\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act State Guidelines; therefore, pursuant to State Guidelines\nSection 15060(c)(3) no environmental review is required.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\nAdopt a resolution A) Accepting two grants from the San Diego Seniors Community\nFoundation, one for “No Senior Alone for the Holidays” in the amount of $4,000 and one for\n“Empower San Diego Senior Centers” in the amount of $6,800; and B) Amending the fiscal\nyear 2025-26 budget by appropriating funds to the Parks and Recreation Section of the Other\nGrants Fund for that purpose.
