7.d.\nADOPTION OF ORDINANCE NO. 1288, AMENDING CHAPTER 5.26 OF\nTITLE 5 OF THE SOUTH EL MONTE MUNICIPAL CODE THEREBY\nAMENDING THE CITY'S CANNABIS REGULATIONS IN RELATION TO\nAPPLICATION PROCEDURE AND CRITERIA, PERMITTING AND\nOPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS, AND MAKE SUCH OTHER\nCHANGES TO ALIGN WITH LEGAL DEVELOPMENTS\nAdoption of an ordinance amending Chapter 5.26 of Title 5 of the South El\nMonte Municipal Code, thereby amending the City’s cannabis regulations,\nin relation to application procedure and criteria, permitting and operational\nrequirements, clarification changes, and other changes in order to align\nwith legal developments and to improve the administration thereof.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: Staff recommends City Council waive the full\nreading and adopt Ordinance No. 1288, amending Chapter 5.26 of Title 5\nof the South El Monte Municipal Code, thereby amending the City’s\ncannabis regulations, in relation to application procedure and criteria,\npermitting and operational requirements, clarification changes, and other\nchanges in order to align with legal developments and to improve the\nadministration thereof.
