5.\nAward Construction Contract to Gentry Brothers, Inc. in the Amount of $999,587 for “ADA\nCurb Ramps and Path of Travel - Citywide (CDBG) (FY 24-25),” FD428, Capital\nImprovement Program (CIP) | CC2590 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) | Project No.\n67947 and “ADA Curb Ramps and Path of Travel - Citywide (CDBG) (FY 25-26),” FD428,\nCapital Improvement Program (CIP) | CC2590 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) |\nProject No. 67948 to include all base bid and additive alternate items.\nIt is recommended that the City Council take the following actions:\n1) Award a construction contract to the lowest responsive bid from Gentry Bros, Inc. for\n“ADA Curb Ramps and Path of Travel - Citywide (CDBG) (FY 24-25),’ FD428, Capital\nImprovement Program (CIP) CC2590 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) | Project\nNo. 67947 and “ADA Curb Ramps and Path of Travel - Citywide (CDBG) (FY 25-26),”\nFD428, Capital Improvement Program (CIP) | CC2590 Capital Improvement Program\n(CIP) | Project No. 67948, to include all Base Bid and Additive Alternate items in the\ntotal amount of $999,587; and\n2) Find that the project referenced above is categorically exempt from the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15301(c) and that the\nproposed project will not have a significant effect on the environment; and\n3) Authorize the City Manager to execute the construction contract and any subsequent\nchange orders on behalf of the City of Pomona (City).\nstaff report.docx
