(27)\n26-0134\nPERSONNEL AND HIRING COMMITTEE REPORT and ORDINANCE\nFIRST CONSIDERATION relative to amending Los Angeles\nAdministrative Code (LAAC) to revise the name of the Teamsters\norganization representing the Crossing Guard Representation Unit.\nRecommendations for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL\nOF THE MAYOR:\n1. PRESENT and ADOPT the accompanying ORDINANCE dated\nDecember 23, 2025 amending LAAC Subsection (a) of Section\n4.203, pertaining to Authorization for Certain Deductions, to\nrevise the name of the Teamsters organization representing the\nCrossing Guard Representation Unit, following the merger of\nTeamsters Local 911 with Teamsters Local 986, and place the\nnew name in alphabetical order.\n2. AUTHORIZE the Controller and the City Administrative Officer\n(CAO) to correct any clerical or technical errors in the above\nOrdinance.\nFiscal Impact Statement: The CAO reports that no costs are\nassociated with the ordinance amending LAAC Section 4.203(a) to\nreflect the revised name of the Teamsters organization representing\nthe Crossing Guard Representation Unit.
