14. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA FE SPRINGS AUTHORIZING JOINT\nAPPLICATION TO AND PARTICIPATION IN THE HOMEKEY+ PROGRAM\n(COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT)\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Adopt Resolution No. 10001 to authorize submission of a joint application (“Joint Application”)\nto the California Department of Housing and Community Development for Homekey+ grant\nfunds in an amount not to exceed $21,193,478; and\n2. Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to execute the Joint Application, the Standard\nAgreement (if awarded) in an amount not to exceed $21,193,478, and all ancillary documents\nrequired to secure and administer the grant funds; and\n3. Direct staff to undertake all actions necessary to implement the Homekey+ award, if received,\nand to return to the City Council with any future agreements, appropriations, or project-related\napprovals as required; and\n4. Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
