(3)\n26-0184\nPLANNING AND LAND USE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE REPORT\nrelative to preparing a report to provide a definition in the Los Angeles\nMunicipal Code (LAMC) (Chapter 1 and Chapter 1A) of the term\n'vacant site'.\nRecommendation for Council action, pursuant to Motion (Blumenfield\n– Lee):\nINSTRUCT the Department of City Planning, with the assistance of\nthe Department of Building and Safety, and in consultation with the\nCity Attorney, to prepare a report to provide a definition in the LAMC\n(Chapter 1 and Chapter 1A) of the term 'vacant site' under the\nAffordable Housing and High Road Jobs Act of 2022 that includes golf\ncourses within a Very High Fire Severity Zone, in the absence of any\nother contrary controlling definition authoritatively issued by the\nCalifornia Department of Housing and Community Development.\nFiscal Impact Statement: Neither the City Administrative Officer nor\nthe Chief Legislative Analyst has completed a financial analysis of this\nreport.
