A.\nConstruction Contract Award to Matich Corporation for the Whitewater\nArea Street Rehabilitation Project Phase II (C02610)\nRecommendation: To award a construction contract to Matich Corporation in\nthe amount of $799,776.00 for the Whitewater Area Street Rehabilitation\nProject Phase II (C02610), and, approve a fifteen percent (15%) contingency\nin the amount of $119,966.40 for unforeseeable construction costs; and,\napprove a proposal from LandMark Consultants, Inc. in the not to exceed\namount of $8,000 to provide material testing services during construction,\nthereby bringing the total construction budget to the amount of $927,742.40;\nand, authorize the City Manager to execute the required contract documents\nand the reimbursement agreement with the Coachella Valley Water District;\nand, authorize the City Engineer to execute LandMark Consultants, Inc.\nproposal, request bonds and insurance for the project, and issue the Notice\nto Proceed.
