(8)\n26-0290\nMotion (Blumenfield - Lee) relative to instructing the Department of\nCity Planning, with the assistance of the Department of Building and\nSafety, and in consultation with the City Attorney to: 1) prepare a\nproposed ordinance to amend Los Angeles Municipal Code Section\n12.24 W 37 (Public Parking Areas in the Agricultural and Residential\nZones by Conditional Use Permit), to disallow public parking in the A\nZone; and to prepare a report with recommendations to consider\nmodifying allowable public parking in Residential Zones in sensitive\nareas, and 2) to prepare an Interim Control Ordinance that prohibits\nthe issuance of approvals and permits associated with any demolition,\nbuilding, use of land, grading, and other applicable permits for public\nparking areas on parcels in the Agricultural (A) zone that are wholly or\npartially located in the Very High Fire Severity Zone or Hillside Areas.
