(25)\n26-0297\nMOTION (HERNANDEZ - BLUMENFIELD) relative to a contract\nbetween the City of Los Angeles and Dodgers for reimbursement of\nCity resources provided in support of the World Series Events.\nRecommendation for Council action:\n1. INSTRUCT the City Administrative Officer (CAO) and the Chief\nLegislative Analyst (CLA), with the assistance of the City\nAttorney, to negotiate a contract between the City and Dodgers\nfor reimbursement of City resources provided in support of the\nWorld Series Events, pursuant to Los Angeles Municipal Code\nSection 41.20.1(c) Events at Major Sports and Entertainment\nVenues.\n2. INSTRUCT the CAO and the CLA, with the assistance of the\nCity Attorney, to negotiate a contract between the City and\nDodgers for reimbursement of requested supplemental Police\nlaw enforcement services to support Dodger Events on the\nDodger Stadium premises, with full reimbursement of Police law\nenforcement services, in accordance with California\nGovernment Code section 53069.8.\n3. AUTHORIZE the use of supplemental Police law enforcement\nservices to support the Dodgers during the World Series Events\nand Dodger Events to enable full cost recovery for the services\nprovided by the City in accordance with California Government\nCode section 53069.8.\n4. AUTHORIZE the CAO to execute and administer the contracts\nbetween the City and Dodgers, subject to the approval of the\nCity Attorney as to form and legality.
