(12)\n24-0283-S1\nADMINISTRATIVE EXEMPTION and TRADE, TRAVEL AND\nTOURISM COMMITTEE REPORT relative to relative to Board of\nAirport Commissioners (BOAC) Resolution and proposed Second\nAmendment to Contract with LAZ Parking California, LLC.\nRecommendations for Council action:\n1. CONCUR with the determination by the Board of Airport\nCommissioners (BOAC) that this action is administratively\nexempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)\npursuant to Article II, Section 2(f) of the Los Angeles City CEQA\nGuidelines.\n2. APPROVE Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) Board\nResolution No. 28287 authorizing a proposed Second\nAmendment to Contract DA-5504 with LAZ Parking California,\nLLC to continue providing the operation and management of\ntransportation shuttle services at Los Angeles International\nAirport for an additional nine months on a month-to-month term,\nfrom February 1, 2026 through October 31, 2026, and increase\nthe contract authority by $12 million, from $57 million to a total\namount not-to-exceed $69 million.\n3. AUTHORIZE the LAWA Chief Executive Officer, or designee, to\nexecute the proposed Second Amendment and return the\nResolution documents to LAWA for further processing.\nFiscal Impact Statement: The City Administrative Officer reports that\napproval of the proposed Second Amendment to Contract DA-5504\nwith LAZ Parking California, LLC will have no impact on the City’s\nGeneral Fund. The proposed Amendment will increase the contract by\n$12 million, from $57 million to $69 million through October 31,2026.\nThe project costs are included in the Department’s Fiscal Year (FY)\n2025-26 and proposed FY 2026-27 Los Angeles World Airports\nOperating Budget in 520160 Operations Contracts, Cost Center\n2001059 LND Economy Parking Lot. The recommendations in this\nreport comply with the Los Angeles World Airports’ adopted Financial\nPolicies.
