I.\nConsider adopting a Tentative Agreement for a successor Memorandum of\nUnderstanding with the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal\nEmployees, District Council 36 (AFSCME). (Godinez)\nRecommendation: 1) Adopt Resolution No. 2026-__, A RESOLUTION OF\nTHE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES,\nCALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING, APPROVING, AND ADOPTING THE TENTATIVE\nAGREEMENT FOR A SUCCESSOR MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING\nBETWEEN THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES AND THE AMERICAN\nFEDERATION OF STATE, COUNTY, AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES\nDISTRICT COUNCIL 36 FOR THE PERIOD OF JULY 1, 2025 THROUGH\nJUNE 30, 2028; and, 2) Waive Administrative Instruction No. 2-20, which\nrequires the City Council to take action on a Tentative Agreement only after it\nhas been placed on a City Council agenda as a Regular Business item and for\na minimum of two City Council meetings that are held at least two weeks\napart.\nAgenda Report
