11.10\nConsideration of Award of Construction Contract for the Slurry Seal Improvement\nZones 1 and 2 (CIP No. 3941)\nRECOMMENDATION: It is staff’s recommendation that the City Council:\n1. Award a construction contract to Doug Martin Contracting Company, Inc. in\nthe amount of $223,910.38 for the Slurry Seal Improvements Zones 1 and 2\n(CIP No. 3941); and\n2. Authorize the City Manager to execute the Construction Contract and\napprove change orders that may be necessary during construction to cover\nany unforeseen condition in an amount not to exceed 10% of the\nconstruction contract.\nATTACHMENTS:\nExhibit 1 – Construction Contract
