Historic Preservation Commission and Community Development – Approve a Mills Act Contract for\nHistoric Landmark #4 (HPC25-00007) for a Residence Located within the Torrance Tract Overlay in a\nSingle-Family Residential (R-1) Zone at 1504 Acacia Avenue and Determine an Exemption from\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). Expenditure: None.\nRecommendation of Historic Preservation Commission and Community Development Director that\nCity Council:\n1. Determine a Categorical Exemption for the project in accordance with Guidelines for\nImplementation of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), Article 19, Section 15331\n(Historic Resource Rehabilitation/Restoration); and\n2. Approve a Mills Act contract for a Historic Landmark designated residence within the Torrance\nTract Overlay in a R-1 Zone at 1504 Acacia.
