6.\nAmerican with Disabilities Act Sidewalk Improvements – Community\nDevelopment Block Grant Project (CIP No. 50131) – Award of Contract.(500)\nRecommendation:\n1. Approve the plans and specifications for the American with Disabilities Act\n(ADA) Sidewalk Improvements – Community Development Block Grant\nProject (CDBG), CIP No. 50131;\n2. Award a Construction Contract for a not-to-exceed amount of $224,510 to\nASAD Holdings, LLC dba OrangeBlue General Contractors, for the ADA\nSidewalk Improvements –CDBG Project, CIP No. 50131, and authorize the\nCity Manager to execute the contract in a form approved by the City\nAttorney;\n3. Authorize the City Manager or his designee to process change orders in an\namount not-to-exceed 40% of the total construction contract amount, as\nneeded, up to $90,000 for construction contingency; and\n4. Approve the Notice of Exemption (NOE) for the subject project and\nauthorize the City Clerk to file the NOE with the County Recorder, in\naccordance with the California Environmental Quality Act.\nAgreement No. _______
