N. Approval of Assignment and Amendment of Lease for the Victorian, Located at 2640 Main Street\nNew Item Received 3/19/2026\nRecommended Action\nStaff recommends that City Council:\n1. Adopt a finding of categorial exemption pursuant to Section 15301 of the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines;\n2. Authorize the City Manager to negotiate and execute an Assignment and Amended\nLease Agreement to transfer the leasehold interest for 2640 Main Street from Ocean\nPark Restaurant Corporation (OPRC) to The Santamonican Club, LLC, a California\nlimited liability company; and,\n3. Authorize the City Manager to accept payment of $278,094 for outstanding back rent due\nunder the existing Lease Agreement with OPRC.\nStaff Report Printout\na.
