8.K.\n3551 San Gabriel River Pkwy Demolition Project – Award of Contract\nRecommendation:\n1) Authorize the City Manager to execute the Quitclaim Deed and\nEnvironmental Restrictions Pursuant to California Civil Code Section 1471\nfor the Pico Rivera Reserve Center;\n2) Award the construction contract to Interior Demolition, Inc., in the amount\nof $115,920 for the 3551 San Gabriel River Pkwy Demolition Project;\n3) Reject all other bids;\n4) Authorize the City Manager to execute a construction contract on behalf of\nthe City;\n5) Approve $11,592 in contingency for the 3551 San Gabriel River Pkwy\nDemolition Project, subject to the approval of the City Manager; and\n6) Adopt Resolution No. 2026-17, amending the FY 2025-26 budget in the\namount of $127,512 in supplemental funds to be allocated for the 3551\nSan Gabriel River Pkwy Demolition Project.
