B.11. APPROVAL OF A FUNDING AGREEMENT WITH THE LOS ANGELES\nCOUNTY METROPOLITAN TRANSIT AUTHORITY (METRO) RELATED\nTO THE 2023 ZERO EMISSION VEHICLE (ZEV) CALL FOR PROJECTS\nGRANT [H. COLLINS, T. FUHRER, C. VASQUEZ]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider approving a Funding\nAgreement with the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transit Authority\n(Metro) for the 2023 Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) Call for Projects Grant\nto procure zero-emission transit vehicles.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Approve the Funding Agreement with Metro to\nsecure and facilitate the use and expenditure of grant funds in the amount\nof $800,000; 2) Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to execute all\ndocuments incident to the grant award; 3) Authorize the City Manager, or\ndesignee, to negotiate changes to the agreement; and 4) Authorize the\nDirector or Finance & Technology Services to allocate $575,000 from\nunallocated reserves in the Measure M Fund for the required matching\nfunds.
