3.A.8. Notice of Intent to Conduct a Public Hearing Regarding Proposed Solid Waste\nRate Adjustments and Introduction of Sixth Amendment to the CR&R Franchise\nAgreement\nRECOMMENDATION:\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n1. Approve and adopt Resolution No. 4116, declaring its intention to approve\nproposed solid waste rate adjustments; and\n2. Give notice and set a Public Hearing for June 2, 2026, in accordance with\nProposition 218 requirements; and\n3. Direct staff to return following the Public Hearing with the proposed Sixth\nAmendment to the Franchise Agreement between the City of San Jacinto and\nCR&R Incorporated, incorporating the updated rate schedule, for City Council\nconsideration.\nDepartment:\nFinance
