The following options for City Council consideration:\n1. Direct staff to work with the Gateway COG to further refine cost\nestimates and identify potential funding sources to support the City’s\nparticipation in the event.\n2. Authorize staff to confirm the City’s participation in the Open Streets\nevent, acknowledging that no funding source has been identified at\nthis time and participation may require reallocating or securing\nadditional resources.\n3. Direct staff to proceed with the existing Clara Street Bridge\nimprovement project without delay, which would prevent the City\nfrom participating in the proposed COG event due to overlapping\ntimelines and construction impacts.
