(14)\n25-1463\nCD 15\nTRADE, TRAVEL AND TOURISM COMMITTEE REPORT relative to\ndirecting the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), in coordination with\nthe Emergency Management Department (EMD), the Port of Los\nAngeles (POLA), the Los Angeles Port Police, and the United States\nCoast Guard, to report on the November 21, 2025 fire aboard the One\nHenry Hudson, including incident response, communication,\ncoordination, and recommended improvements for future\nemergencies.\nRecommendation for Council action, pursuant to Motion (McOsker -\nLee):\nDIRECT the LAFD, in coordination with EMD, the POLA, the Los\nAngeles Port Police, and in partnership with the United States Coast\nGuard, to report to the Trade, Travel, and Tourism Committee with a\nverbal update on the November 21, 2025 fire aboard the One Henry\nHudson. This should include, but not be limited to:\na. An operational timeline from initial dispatch through current\nincident status.\nb. A current summary of interagency coordination, communication\n(with attention to the automated notification system, as\nimplemented in this incident), and resource deployment.\nc. Initial key findings, lessons learned, and recommended\nimprovements for future responses.\nFiscal Impact Statement: Neither the City Administrative Officer nor\nthe CLA has completed a financial analysis of this report.
