(50)\n26-0455\nMOTION (JURADO - LEE) relative to funding for Heritage Month\nCelebrations and Special Events.\nRecommendations for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL\nOF THE MAYOR:\n1. ALLOCATE and AUTHORIZE $81,000 in the Council's portion\nof the Heritage Month Celebration and Special Events line item\nin the General City Purposes Fund No.100/56 to fund any\naspect of the following three events and in the amounts\nspecified:\na. Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander\nHeritage Month – AAPI Market\nb. $11,000 LGBT Heritage Month $25,00\nc. Filipino American History Month $45,000\n2. DIRECT the City Clerk to prepare and process the\nnecessary documents and/or payments, directly with the\nvendor/service provider, and / or any other agency or\norganization, as appropriate, in the above amounts, for the\nabove purposes, subject to the approval of the City\nAttorney as to form, if needed; and that the City Clerk be\nauthorized to execute any such documents on behalf of the\nCity.\n3. AUTHORIZE the City Clerk to make any corrections,\nclarifications or revisions to the above fund transfer\ninstructions, including any new instructions, in order to\neffectuate the intent of this Motion, and including any\ncorrections and changes to fund or account numbers; said\ncorrections / clarifications / changes may be made orally,\nelectronically or by any other means.
