34.\nCONSIDER APPROVING AN ASSIGNMENT, ASSUMPTION, AND CONSENT AGREEMENT TO TRANSFER\nWASTE RESOURCE TECHNOLOGIES’ INTERESTS IN THE CITY’S SOLID WASTE FRANCHISE AGREEMENT TO\nUSA WASTE (CITY COUNCIL)\nRECOMMENDED ACTION\n— 1. APPROVE the Assignment, Assumption, and Consent Agreement, thereby consenting to the\ntransfer of WRT’s interests in the City’s Franchise Agreement to USA Waste; and,\n— 2. DIRECT staff to establish an internal service fund for deposit of the settlement payment for\npurchases related to citywide departmental activities.
