(27)\n26-0322\nHOUSING AND HOMELESSNESS COMMITTEE REPORT relative to\na contract with Interwest Consulting Group, Inc. to provide tenant\ntemporary relocation services.\nRecommendation for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL\nOF THE MAYOR:\nAUTHORIZE the General Manager, Los Angeles Housing\nDepartment, or designee to:\na. Execute a new agreement with Interwest Consulting Group Inc.\nto provide tenant temporary relocation services in an amount\nnot to exceed $2,000,000 for a term of five years commencing\non May 1, 2026 through April 30, 2031, in substantial\nconformance with the agreement attached to the City\nAdministrative Officer (CAO) dated February 18, 2026 attached\nto the Council file, subject to the review and approval of the City\nAttorney as to form, funding availability, and compliance with the\nCity’s contracting requirements.\nb. Prepare Controller instructions and any technical adjustments\nconsistent with the Mayor and Council intent on this matter,\nsubject to the approval of the CAO.\nFiscal Impact Statement: The CAO reports the proposed contract will\nbe funded by an existing $301,465 appropriation in the Accessible\nHousing Fund for relocation services. Funding for each of the four\nsubsequent years is subject to Mayor and Council approval through\nthe annual budget process. The City’s financial obligation will be\nlimited to funds appropriated for this purpose. There is no additional\nimpact to the General Fund.\nFinancial Policies Statement: The CAO reports that the\nrecommendations stated in its report comply with the City’s Financial\nPolicies in that the proposed contract will be funded by dedicated\nfunding sources and expenditures will be limited to the mandates of\nthe funding sources.
