15. AUTHORIZATION TO PURCHASE FOUR (4) GENERATOR LIGHT TOWERS, USING PROPOSITION C\nLOCAL RETURN FUNDS (PARKS AND RECREATION)\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Authorize the purchase of four (4) generator light towers, in an amount not to exceed $75,000.00;\nand\n2. Authorize the Director of Parks and Recreation to issue a purchase order(s) for the procurement\nof the equipment in an amount not-to-exceed $75,000: and\n3. Approve the use of Proposition C Local Return funds, as approved by the Los Angeles County\nMetropolitan Transportation Authority (LA Metro), to finance this purchase; and\n4. Take such additional, related, action that may be desirable.
