7.d.\nCONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION NO. 26-XX,\nAPPROVING\nPROJECT\nACCEPTANCE\nAND\nNOTICE\nOF\nCOMPLETION FOR THE FY 25-26 PAVEMENT REHABILITATION\nPROJECT, CITY PROJECT NO. 644\nOn August 4, 2025, the Engineering Department solicited bids for the FY\n25-26 Pavement Rehabilitation Project. The work involves asphalt concrete\nreconstruction/rehabilitation of existing streets, restoration of traffic signal\nloops, restoration of pavement markings and striping and all related work\nas per plans and specifications. On September 2, 2025, Onyx Paving\nCompany, Inc. (“Contractor”) was awarded a construction contract for the\nFY 25-26 Pavement Rehabilitation Project, City Project No. 644. The final\ncost for the construction work completed by Onyx Paving Company, Inc. is\n$1,991.665.06.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: Staff recommends City Council:\n1. Adopt Resolution No. 26-027, accepting the completion for the FY 25-\n26 Pavement Rehabilitation Project, City Project No. 644;\n2. Authorize City Clerk to send the Notice of Completion for recordation to\nthe Los Angeles County Recorder’s Office; and\n3. Release retention accordingly.
