Item 54:\nApproval of a Cooperative Procurement Contract Between the City of San Diego\nand Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc for Managed Print Services.\nTotal Estimated Cost of Proposed Action and Funding Source:\nThe cost of this agreement is not-to-exceed $4,778,000 for a five-year term from the date\nof award, with five (5) additional one-year renewal options. This agreement will be\nfunded by the Information Technology Fund, which is reimbursed by a quarterly citywide\nallocation.\nCouncil District(s) Affected: Citywide.\nProposed Actions:\nAdopt the following Ordinance which was introduced on 4/7/2026, Item 50, (Council\nvoted 8-0, Council President Pro Tem Lee-not present):\n(O-2026-100)\nOrdinance authorizing the Mayor or his designee to execute a cooperative contract\nbetween the City of San Diego and Konica Minolta Business Solutions USA, Inc. for\nmanaged print services for a cumulative amount not-to-exceed $4,778,000 for a five-year\nterm with five (5) additional one year options to renew and also to execute the Master\nLease Agreement between the City and the Lessor (currently First Citizen’s Bank) and\nany subsequent leases pursuant to the Master Lease.\n6 votes required pursuant to Charter Section 99.\nCommittee Actions Taken:\nThis item was heard at the Budget and Government Efficiency Committee meeting on\nMarch 4, 2026.\nACTION: Motion by Chair Foster III, second by Council President Pro Tem Lee, to\nrecommend Council approval of staff’s proposed actions.\nVOTE: 4-0; Foster III-yea, Moreno-yea, Lee-yea, Elo-Rivera-yea.\nDepartment of Information Technology: Samuel Alatorre, (619) 533-3465\nCity Attorney Contact: Steven Lastomirsky
