8.\nACCEPTANCE OF THE LED SIGN PROJECT (CP 933) LOCATED AT CITY HALL – NOTICE OF\nCOMPLETION\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Accept the City Hall LED Sign Project (CP 933) as completed by Monarka Development Corp. (DBA\nExpress Sign & Neon); and\n2. Approve the final contract amount with Monarka Development Corp. (DBA Express Sign & Neon) for the\nCity Hall LED Sign Project in the amount of $97,845, including change orders;\n3. Approve the Final Total Project Budget (Attachment A);\n4. Authorize the City Clerk to execute, verify and file the Notice of Completion (Attachment B) with the Los\nAngeles County Registrar-Recorder;\n5. Authorize the release of the retention payment of $4,892 due to Monarka Development Corp. (DBA\nExpress Sign & Neon) following the mandatory waiting period from the date the Notice of Completion is\nrecorded;\n6. Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
