12.8 Consideration and Approval of a Contract Services Agreement with Clean Harbors\nEnvironmental Services, Inc. for the Operations of the City’s Household\nHazardous Waste Collection Program and On-Call Hazardous Waste Collection.\nRECOMMENDATION OF BUSINESS ITEM UNDER CONSIDERATION:\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Consider and approve a Contract Service Agreement with Clean Harbors\nEnvironmental Services, Inc. for the operation of the City’s Household Hazardous\nWaste Collection Program and on-call hazardous waste collection for a term of three\n(3) years with two (2) possible one (1) year extensions for a not-to-exceed amount of\n$120,000 per year plus an annual CPI increase;\n2. Authorize the City Manager, or her designee, to execute a Contract Service Agreement\nwith Clean Harbors Environmental Services, Inc.; and\n3. Authorize the City Manager, or her designee, to exercise judgement and execute\nContract Amendments to authorize each of the two (2) available Extensions at the\nconclusion of the Initial Term, as necessary.\nTotal Cost: $360,000 Account No: 207-63-631-4-0-62690-00000\nIs the cost of this item budgeted?
