5.\nInitiate Code Consistency and Reorganization Zoning Text and Local Coastal Program\nAmendments\nRecommended Action: 1) Adopt Resolution No. 26-19 (Attachment 1) initiating\namendments to the Local Coastal Program (LCP) and Title 17 of the Malibu Municipal\nCode (MMC) to modify development standards related to height, setbacks, view impacts,\nparking, signs, findings, definitions, and related issues and to codify existing policies in\norder to create harmonious code requirements while maintaining the intent of the distinct\nLCP and MMC; 2) Direct staff to schedule a Zoning Ordinance Revisions and Code\nEnforcement Subcommittee (ZORACES) meeting to discuss the matter; and 3) Direct the\nPlanning Commission to schedule a public hearing regarding the same.\nStaff Contact: Community Development Director Bundy, 456-2489, ext. 229
