5.A.\nRESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND APPROVAL OF A CONTRACT WITH ONYX PAVING\nCOMPANY, INC. FOR THE 2025-2026 ANNUAL SLURRY SEAL PROJECT\n— Recommended Action: 1) Adopt a Resolution approving the plans and specifications for the 2025-2026\nAnnual Slurry Seal Project; 2) Award a contract to Onyx Paving Company, Inc. in the amount of $488,000; 3)\nAuthorize contingency funds in the amount of $50,000 in the same purchase order; 4) Authorize construction\nengineering funds in the amount of $60,000; 5) Authorize a purchase order for the Solis Group in the amount of\n$5,380 for administration of the Community Workforce Agreement (CWA); 6) Authorize contingency funds in\nthe amount of $2,690 for CWA administration; 7) Authorize the City Manager and City Attorney to make any\nnecessary, non-monetary changes to the contract; and, 8) Authorize the City Manager and City Clerk to execute\nthe contract.
