(43)\n26-0010-S3\nMOTION (HARRIS-DAWSON - HUTT) relative to an offer of reward for\ninformation leading to the identification, apprehension, and conviction\nof the person or persons responsible for the death of Demetri Lamar\nAlexander on December 29, 2020.\nRecommendation for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL\nOF THE MAYOR:\n1. PROVIDE an offer of reward in the amount of $50,000 for\ninformation leading to the identification, apprehension, and\nconviction of the person or persons responsible for the death of\nDemetri Lamar Alexander on December 29, 2020.\n2. FIND that the subject reward complies with the provisions of\nChapter 12, Article 1, Division 19, of the Los Angeles\nAdministrative Code.\n3. DIRECT the City Clerk to publish the required notices\nand/or advertisements to effectuate the reward.\n4. DIRECT the City Clerk to publish the reward notice in the\nOur Weekly, Los Angeles Sentinel and LA Watts Times, in\naddition to the regular publications used by the City Clerk\nfor reward notices, to ensure adequate community notice.
