(18)\n23-0861-S6\nPLANNING AND LAND USE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE REPORT\nrelative to preparing proposed ordinances to amend Chapter 1A of the\nLos Angeles Municipal Code to change the mandatory inclusionary\nhousing set-aside requirements in the Boyle Heights Community Plan\nUpdate (BHCPU).\nRecommendations for Council action, as initiated by Motion (Jurado –\nHutt):\n1. REQUEST the City Attorney to incorporate the new inclusionary\nhousing set aside for Very Low Income Households (an\nincrease from 17 percent to 22 percent in the River Adjacent\narea) in the BHCPU in the draft ordinances that the City\nAttorney is preparing.\n2. REQUEST the City Attorney to include the following language\nwithin all ordinances prepared for the City Council’s review:\nAs deemed necessary by the Director, the DCP may prepare\ntechnical corrections to the ordinances adopted through Council\nfile (CF) Nos. 23-0861, 23-0861-S1 and 23-0861-S6 in order to\ncorrect citations and typographical errors that do not result in\nsubstantive changes to the policies adopted by the City Council\nfor the BHCPU (CF Nos. 23-0861, 23-0861-S1 and 23-0861-\nS6) in the approval of the final ordinances, in consultation with\nthe City Attorney.\na. Such technical corrections may include:\ni. Corrections to typographical errors and citations.\nii. Stylistic and formatting consistency edits.\niii. Corrections to ensure consistency between\nprovisions.\niv. Corrections to clarify the implementation of a\nprovision.\nv. Corrections to illustrations or graphics to align with\nthe text of the ordinance.\nvi. Corrections to map errors.\nb. The DCP shall bring those corrections to City Council for\nfinal approval by Ordinance.\nc. This section shall be effective for one year from the\neffective date of this Ordinance.\nFiscal Impact Statement: Neither the City Administrative Officer nor\nthe Chief Legislative Analyst has completed a financial analysis of this\nreport.
