(20)\n26-0162\nPUBLIC WORKS and GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS COMMITTEES’\nREPORT relative to issues with the MyLA311 system.\nRecommendations for Council action, as initiated by Motion (Padilla –\nRodriguez):\n1. INSTRUCT the Department of Public Works (DPW), including\nits Bureaus and Board of Public Works (Board), to report on\ntheir issues with MyLA311 including how these technical issues\nimpact service delivery timelines and work order completion\nrates.\n2. INSTRUCT the Information Technology Agency (ITA) to report\non the performance of the new MYLA311 system, identifying\nany persistent operational issues and providing potential\nsolutions to address them. The report should also include 311\nsurvey results, identifying major themes and how user feedback\nwill be incorporated, if feasible, into system improvements.\n3. INSTRUCT the DPW, including its Bureaus and Board, in\ncoordination with the ITA, to provide quarterly reports on the\nMyLA311 service request data, including total requests\nreceived, total requests closed, any backlogs, and average\nresponse times, disaggregated by Council District.\n4. INSTRUCT the Bureau of Sanitation, in collaboration with the\nITA, to improve the MyLA311 bulky item and illegal dumping\nrequest interface to improve clarity, streamline the submission\nprocess, and reduce confusion for constituents.\nFiscal Impact Statement: Neither the City Administrative Officer nor\nthe Chief Legislative Analyst has completed a financial analysis of this\nreport.
