(32)\n26-0002-S10\nRULES, ELECTIONS AND INTERGOVERNMENTAL RELATIONS\nCOMMITTEE REPORT and RESOLUTION relative to establishing the\nCity’s position on Senate Bill (SB) 1076 (Perez – McGuire) which\nwould prohibit residential property insurers from refusing to offer, sell,\nor renew coverage for properties that meet minimum home hardening\nand wildfire mitigation standards.\nRecommendation for Council action, pursuant to Resolution (Park –\nRodriguez), SUBJECT TO THE CONCURRENCE OF THE MAYOR:\nRESOLVE to include in the City’s 2025-26 State Legislative Program\nSUPPORT for SB 1076 (Perez - McGuire), which would require\ninsurers of residential property in California to offer insurance\ncoverage equivalent in scope to that it most commonly offers in the\nState to applicants who meet minimum home hardening and wildfire\nmitigation standards.\nFiscal Impact Statement: None submitted by the Chief Legislative\nAnalyst. The City Administrative Officer has not completed a financial\nanalysis of this report.
