(6)\n26-0408\nCD 5\nCATEGORICAL EXEMPTION, COMMUNICATION FROM THE CITY\nENGINEER and ORDINANCE FIRST CONSIDERATION relative to the\nquitclaim of a Sanitary Sewer Easement for sewer purposes lying on\n9618 West Arrowood Drive - Right of Way No. 36000-2602 (Quitclaim).\nRecommendations for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL\nOF THE MAYOR:\n1. FIND that the Quitclaim is categorically exempt from the\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act of 1970 pursuant to Article\nIII, Class 5(4) of the City's Environmental Guidelines.\n2. APPROVE the petitioner’s request for the quitclaim of a\nSanitary Sewer Easement for sewer purposes lying on 9618\nWest Arrowood Drive, as shown on the Exhibit Map on the\nFebruary 23, 2026 City Engineer report, attached to the Council\nfile, subject to the following condition:\nThat petitioners make satisfactory arrangement with the Real\nEstate Group of the Bureau of Engineering (BOE) with respect\nto the payment of the document recording fee.\n3. PRESENT and ADOPT the accompanying ORDINANCE dated\nMarch 17, 2026 authorizing the Quitclaim, which has been\napproved as to form and legality by the City Attorney.\n4. INSTRUCT the Real Estate Division of the BOE record and\ndeliver the necessary quitclaim deed or deeds to the persons\nlegally entitled thereto.\nFiscal Impact Statement: The City Engineer reports that a fee of\n$7,075.91 was paid for processing this request pursuant to Section\n7.40 of the Los Angeles Administrative Code.
