INSTRUCT the Board of Public Works and the Bureau of\nSanitation to report with a breakdown of all the pending public\nnuisance properties in the City, a plan to address these\nproperties, and recommendations on how to improve and speed\nup the public nuisance declaration process, including staffing\nand budgetary needs.\n2. REQUEST the City Attorney's Office to prepare and present an\nordinance to amend Los Angeles Municipal Code Sec. 58.02 to\nadd to the definition of public nuisance: hazardous materials,\nbiohazards, and fire hazards.\nFiscal Impact Statement: Neither the City Administrative Officer nor\nthe Chief Legislative Analyst has completed a financial analysis of this\nreport.
