10A. INFORMATIONAL REPORT AND CONSIDERATION OF A RESOLUTION\nCONCERNING A REQUEST FOR THE CITY TO FORGIVE LOANS AND\nDEEDS OF TRUST FOR PROPERTIES LOCATED 133 & 135 W. CANADA\nAND 143 W. MARQUITA, OWNED AND OPERATED BY MARY ERICKSON\nCOMMUNITY HOUSING\n(Agendized by Councilmember Enmeier, with the support of Mayor Pro Tem\nKnoblock, Mayor Loeffler, and Councilmember Cabral at the February 17, 2026\nCity Council meeting.)\nRecommended Action\nAdopt Resolution No. 26-82, which would deny the request for forgiveness of\nthe outstanding deferred-payment loans secured by Deeds of Trust\nassociated with the properties located at 133 & 135 W. Canada and 143 W.\nMarquita, and direct the borrower to satisfy the outstanding loan obligations in\naccordance with the terms of the loan agreements. If the City had to\nforeclose on these Deeds of Trust, interest and attorney fees would be\navailable under the terms of the loan agreements.
