13.\nRESOLUTION APPROVING A REVISED COMPREHENSIVE MEMORANDUM OF\nUNDERSTANDING\n(MOU)\nWITH\nTHE\nALHAMBRA\nPOLICE\nOFFICERS’\nASSOCIATION (APOA) – F2M26-2, R2M26-14, C87-16C, M2M26-77\nPreviously, the City Council approved a revised MOU between the City and APOA on April\n28, 2025. Periodically, the need will arise to update and/or revise existing MOU language\nin order to clarify benefits or revise MOU language for compliance purposes. Changes\nproposed include: revision to language to death benefits for APOA members; revision to\nlanguage pertaining to uniform allowance and cleaning; and, addition of Senior Detective\npremium pay. These changes have been reviewed and approved by the APOA.\nRecommended Action:\nCity Council adopt Resolution No. R2M26-14 entitled: A\nResolution of the Alhambra City Council approving a revised Comprehensive\nMemorandum of Understanding between the City of Alhambra and the Alhambra Police\nOfficers’ Association that includes clarifying language for existing benefits, revision of\nexisting language for CalPERS compliance purposes and the addition of one new special\nassignment pay benefit; and, direct staff to undertake the steps necessary to finalize\nCouncil’s action.
