14.\nRESOLUTION APPROVING A REVISED COMPREHENSIVE MEMORANDUM OF\nUNDERSTANDING (MOU) WITH THE ALHAMBRA POLICE MANAGEMENT\nASSOCIATION (APMA) – F2M26-2, R2M26-15, C2M11-32, M2M26-78\nPreviously, the City Council approved a revised MOU between the City and APMA on\nAugust 26, 2024. Periodically, the need will arise to update and/or revise existing MOU\nlanguage in order to clarify benefits or revise MOU language for compliance purposes.\nChanges proposed include: revision to language to death benefits for APMA members;\nrevision to language pertaining to uniform allowance and cleaning; and, addition of one\nAssistant Police Chief and decrease of one Police Lieutenant. These changes have been\nreviewed and approved by the APMA.\nRecommended Action:\nCity Council take the following actions: 1) Adopt Resolution\nNo. R2M26-15 entitled: A Resolution of the Alhambra City Council approving a revised\nComprehensive Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Alhambra and the\nAlhambra Police Management Association that includes clarifying language for existing\nbenefits, revision of existing language for CalPERS compliance purposes and the addition\nof one Assistant Police Chief; and, direct staff to undertake the steps necessary to finalize\nCouncil’s action.
