17.\nAWARD OF CONTRACT: PROFESSIONAL INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND\nSUPPORT SERVICES FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT – F2M26-28, RFP2M26-2,\nC2M26-31, M2M26-81\nOn March 9, 2026, the City Council approved the distribution of a Request for Proposals\n(RFP) seeking proposals for Professional Information Technology and Support Services.\nOn April 15, 2026, the City received seven proposals. Four Police Department employees\nevaluated and ranked the proposals in accordance with the criteria stated in the RFP. The\nproposal received from SDI Presence, LLC (SDI) had the highest ranking and meets the\nCity's evaluation criteria including experience with similar projects involving municipalities,\nknowledge and hands-on experience with relevant government and public safety software\napplications, qualifications and experience of proposed staff, hours and rates, and\nreferences.\nRecommended Action:\nCity Council award a contract to SDI Presence, LLC.,\nsubject to final language approval by the City Manager and City Attorney, to provide\nProfessional Information Technology (IT) and Support Services to the Alhambra Police\nDepartment for a three-year term with two one-year optional extensions in an amount not\nto exceed $219,240 for the first year, with an annual CPI increase each year thereafter in\na not to exceed amount of 5%; authorize the Chief of Police to execute the said agreement\nand the two one-year extensions, which shall be contingent on satisfactory performance\nand available budget; authorize the City Manager or her designee to amend the contract\nfor other necessary IT related services outside the scope of the agreement if such\namendment is within her authority; and, direct staff to undertake the steps necessary to\nfinalize the Council’s action.
